The majority in this country has cast it's vote, has spoken, yet not with intelligence or eloquence, not for liberty or freedom, but in ignorance, stupidity, and bigotry, and for the further decline of this once-great nation called America.
Four more years of The Great Deceiver, who must be dribbling with glee at having finally achieved the majority vote in national elections so far only slightly tainted by fraud and controversy.
That there was fraud, and underhandedness, and chicanery and tomfoolery, there can be no doubt. That Rove and his servient army of minions did everything they could to rig the election in as untraceable a fashion as possible is clear.
This tainted victory for ignorance and extremism makes America the laughingstock of the western world, shows us to be (largely) a nation of sheep willingly led to the slaughter by deceit, lies, and fear.
The great unwashed masses have spoken, have come down from their mountainside compounds, up from their plantations, and down from their trailer-parks and voted to hasten the economic and moral bankruptcy of America, to sentance this country to a further four years of embarassment, oppression, and tyrrany at the hands of an extremist administration, and to further forcefully inflict these abhorrent values upon the world at large.
Yesterday was a great victory for democracy, ignorance, and mob rule, and a crushing defeat for freedom, liberty, and intelligence from which we may never recover.
There is no doubt in my mind that The Great Deceiver is the worst threat this country has faced since the Cuban missile crisis decades ago. In his first four years asleep at the wheel he has overseen the unprecedented bankruptcy of this country, open-ended involvement in an unjust and unpopular war, economic and environmental decimation at the behest of Big Business, and has led the growth of the radical right into a force set upon the destruction of mainstream American values. He campaigned on a platform of "more of the same", and the brainwashed Republican zombies supported him in rabid, knee-jerk compulsion. The thought of what horrors he will perpetrate over the next four years sickens me.
That said, I wish to extend my most sincere congratulations to Karl Rove and his slack-jawed monkey puppet for their hard-bought victory. Anything less would be unpatriotic, which is far too dangerous a slope to tread in these troubled, troubled times.
